Thank you From Children's Chance! Attn: Board Members Children's Chance recently received an unsolicited $5,000 donation! The donation was by way of the Palmetto Thrift Store but given from Golden Rule Optics. Children's Chance is sending a thank you note, but if you would like to write and thank them as well, please feel free to do so. This could be a great relationship for CC! Golden Rule

Updates from Children's Chance

Children's Chance held the 2009 Gift Giveaway sponsored by the Tree of Life Synagogue and gave families many holiday presents that members collected. The Tree of Life went above and beyond collecting presents for our families! Children's Chance sent Tree of Life a thank you letter and certificate of appreciation and many families sent them thank you notes as well.

Children's Chance is dispersing Discretionary Funds to families on our Waiting List.

SCBT chose Children's Chance as their charity of choice for the 2010 Souper Bowl of Caring. Employees are raising money for the Angel Funds Program.

Children's Chance is one of the volunteer organizations for the Disney Give a Day, Get a Day Program! We are receiving many volunteer requests to help our organization. Volunteers are doing everything from being our mascot, Zig the Pig, to holding their own School Supply Drives to collect supplies for our School Bash program to be held in the Summer of 2010.

Thanks to Scott Graves wife, Lexanne, Bethleham Lutheran Church will be including Children's Chance in their mission projects starting February 21st by collecting school supplies and purchasing gas, food, and grocery cards for our organization.

Davis Elementary in West Columbia will host a Zig Adoption in March 2010!
