12th Annual Billy Mill Charity Golf Classic a Huge Success!
The 12th Annual Billy Mill Charity Golf Classic was held on Monday, May 18th at The Country Club of Lexington. Put on ever year by the Mill family in memory of Billy Mill who passed away from cancer, the tournament benefits Children's Chance to help children with cancer and their families throughout South Carolina. This year's tournament hosted 124 golfers from throughout the country who were able to enjoy raffle prizes and goodie bags, a silent and live auction, 3 great meals, and 18 holes of golf, all while raising money for charity. In light of the economy, the golfers showed up like they do every year and dug deep into their pockets to help Children's Chance continue to provide programs to our families in need. Because of all of the sponsors, donors, and volunteers, the 12th Annual Billy Mill Charity Golf Classic went off without a hitch and for that, we say Thank You to all involved in making this year's tournament a great success! A special Thanks goes out to the Mill Family: Judy Mill, Scotty & Susan Mill, Rick & Allison Mill, Ronnie Mill, and Donnie Mill, for all that they continue to do for Children's Chance to help the families we serve! A Big Thanks to all of our golfers and volunteers for making this tournament possible - we couldn't do it without you! Thank you
