Children's Chance is holding a School Supply Bash for children with cancer and their siblings. Due to financial constraints that having a child with cancer places on a family, many families are unable to purchase the much needed school supplies to help all of their children begin the school year prepared. Children's Chance will offer school supplies to South Carolina children with cancer and their siblings at the School Supply Bash. The supplies are provided at no charge to the kids because of donations. If you, your church, a club you are involved with, etc. would like to donate new school supplies to this Bash, please review the list below and bring supplies to one of the drop off locations below, or call our office at 803-254-5996. Kickin Cancer Nite Owl Ride 12 hours of biking across the Congaree River Presented by 300 Senate
benefitting
Can you Endure 12 Hours of Biking?
8:00 pm, Friday, September 11th to 8:00 am, Saturday, September 12th
Ride Alone or Find a Team!
Festivities start at 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm include vendors, face painting, bounce house, music, food, etc
Biking: 8 pm - 8 am
$40/person or $140/team of 4
About the Ride: The first ever, Kickin Cancer Nite Owl Ride is a unique 12 hour cycling event located on the Gervais Street Bridge, across the Congaree River in the heart of Columbia, SC. This event will benefit Children's Chance, a local charity that helps children with cancer, and the Lance Armstrong Foundation, a national charity that helps people with cancer. The event will give riders the opportunity to see how long they can endure throughout the night, while helping cancer patients continue to endure through their fight.

Zig the Pig visits the Decker Bi-Lo Sandhills Bi-Lo Manager, Tony Wilks, with Zig the Pig and Children's Chance Board Member, Lester Park
Last year Bi-Lo and their Shoppers raised a total of $22,629.35, and we are excited to see if we beat that this year.

Ride for Hope
for your donation of $3,000.00
The purpose of the ride is to fundraise for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and local charities involved in the fight against cancer.
The Course for the Ride is a Flat lollipop course with a turnaround at 15 miles for those that are doing the 30 mile ride, and a scenic Lowcountry tour of 100k+ flat and nice country roads.
The Ride also offers a Bicycle Rodeo for Family and Children that
includes a bicycle safety, games, helmet fitting and instruction will be
done for family and children. Free helmets for kids while they last, to
all that attend.

Ride for Hope will be held again on Sunday, October 26, 2009.
