Board Highlight!

Meet a Board Member

 

John Moore

 

John Moore is not only the President and Chief Executive Officer of JMI Inc. Management and Training Consulting Firm, but he also serves as a Realtor for ERA Wilder.

 

John is an active community member and involved with multiple service groups and organizations including the St. Andrews Kiwanis Club, where he also serves as the Lieutenant  Governor of the Carolinas District. John also serves as the Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee of Special Olympics of South Carolina.

 

John is the previous past Chairman of Children's Chance, an involved Board Member with Children's Chance and is very appreciated for his community contacts and willingness to help Children's Chance continue to grow.

Can you endure

12 hours of biking at night?

 

The first ever Kickin Cancer Nite Owl Ride is a unique

12-hour cycling event over the historic Gervais Street Bridge

between Columbia and West Columbia to benefit

Children's Chance and the Lance Armstrong Foundation

 

The Kickin Cancer Nite Owl Ride

will give cyclists the opportunity to see how long they

can endure throughout the night,

while helping cancer patients continue

to endure through their fight.

 

8:00pm, Friday, September 11th

to

8:00am, Saturday, September 12th

 

 

$40.00 per person
for early bird registration by August 28th

or

$45.00 per person
after August 28th or on-site

Pre-Ride Festivities from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Open to the Public

at 300 Senate

including vendors, face painting, bounce house, music, food, etc.

 

Biking:  8:00pm - 8:00am

 

This event will benefit

 Children’s Chance, a cancer charity that helps South Carolina children with cancer

and the

 Lance Armstrong Foundation, a national charity that helps people with cancer

For having Children's Chance as their Friend of the Month for July 2009! Zig the Pig enjoyed being at Earthfare throughout the month to help kids with cancer! Thank you to everyone who came out to the special events and fed the ziggybanks at the register. Zig loves Earthfare!
