Special Thanks to the WLTX Gannett Foundation...

Children's Chance would like to thank the WLTX Gannett Foundation for sponsoring the School Supply Bash through a $2500 grant to help kids with cancer and their siblings with back to school supplies, helping to relieve the financial burden families who have a child with cancer face.

The event was a huge success with over 30 families attending and receiving all kinds of cool school supplies to start their year off with a bang. We appreciate the generosity of WLTX and their continued effort to help children fighting cancer and their families throughout South Carolina.

India Maple who is treated at Palmetto Richland for cancer, pictured right, and her sister, take a break from shopping to smile and pose!

India's mom states, "Thank you for giving your time and support with these supplies to help start the children's school year off great."

Special Thanks to WIS TV....

Children's Chance thanks WIS TV and especially Susan Aude for their continued support of South Carolina families facing pediatric cancer. We are proud to have participated in "Celebrating Susan" on March 2, 2006, a wonderful evening of appreciation for such a beloved citizen of South Carolina! We also thank the Bledsoe family, especially Lee Bledsoe who was our honored artist of the evening and presented Susan with a special picture

made just for her. Lee is a participant in the Ryan Crout Art Therapy Program for children with cancer and blood disorders at Palmetto Richland, funded by Children's Chance.
