Children's Chance is the only
statewide organization that offers
programs that focus completely on non medical
assistance for the entire family during a
child's cancer treatment and recovery. The
facility is located at 609 Sims Avenue,
2nd Floor, Columbia, SC. Children's Chance
raises money to fund programs and provide
resources that assist South Carolina children
and their families facing pediatric cancer.

Our programs and services are provided at the
following oncology clinics : Palmetto Health
Richland in Columbia, the Medical University of
South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, the Medical
College of Georgia (MCG) in Augusta, Carolinas
Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital in
Charlotte, and The Greenville Children's
Hospital in Greenville. Children's Chance also
provides services to any child who is either on
active treatment for cancer or less than one
year off treatment and is a resident of South
Carolina, regardless of where that child is
being treated. We work closely with the staff of
these clinics and the families to ensure our
funds are making a difference in the lives of
pediatric cancer patients throughout the state
of South Carolina. Children's Chance programs
are provided to all persons regardless of race,
creed, gender, religious affiliation, or
handicap.
Children's Chance's mission is to improve the
quality of life of children and families who are
dealing with the trauma of child's cancer. The
ultimate goal of Children's Chance is to assist
families in remaining intact and functional during
their crisis.

Children's
Chance's vision is that all people affected by
pediatric cancer anywhere are helped and
supported and no needs are left unmet for as
long as needed. |
