SPONSORSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES

 

 

The first ever Kickin Cancer Nite Owl Ride is a unique 12 hour cycling event on the Gervais Street bridge over the Congaree River, which will benefit Children’s Chance, a cancer charity that helps South Carolina children with cancer, and the Lance Armstrong Foundation, a national charity that helps people with cancer. The ride will take place on Friday, September 11th – Saturday, September 12th, 2009 from 8:00pm to 8:00am and will give cyclist the opportunity to see how long they can endure throughout the night, while helping cancer patients continue to endure through their fight.

 

We offer several levels of sponsorship, including Big Bike Sponsor, Handlebar Sponsor, Pedal Sponsor, Spoke Sponsor, Family Fun (Vendor/Exhibitor) Sponsor, Nite Owl In-Kind Sponsor, Nite Owl Media Sponsor, and Nite Owl Rest Stop Tent Sponsor

(this applies to sponsors and donors of an in-kind product/ service of a monetary value that falls in line with the sponsor categories)

Family Fun (Vendor) Sponsor        

There is no fee for displaying at this event.  If you would like to advertise your business on the event website and in a Children’s Chance newsletter, that is sent out to over 300 people in South Carolina, there is a $25.00 fee.

 

What: The Family Fun/Vendor Sponsor will have the opportunity to have a vendor booth at the event during the festivities and kick-off to the ride. Vendors will have a space from 6:00-8:30 pm during the pre-ride festivities including face painting, music, auction, food, etc.

  • Opportunity to promote business to all riders and event participants

  • Opportunity to either give away promotional items or sell items to the public

Nite Owl Rest Stop Tent Sponsor

 What: The Nite Owl Rest Stop Tent Sponsor will be responsible for providing a rest tent for riders including a special “theme” (i.e. Hawaiian, beach, or one that represents your business) a tent, chairs and/or cots, drinks (water coolers with water or Gatorade that the cyclist can refill their water bottles), snacks (fig newtons, bananas, M&M’s, crackers, oranges, etc.). Sponsor responsible for having volunteers to man the tent.
