The Children's Chance Counseling Program,
funded by the Lipscomb Family Foundation, provides funding for counseling fees for any member of a
family who has been touched by pediatric cancer. Family members may
choose a certified counselor for their specific needs, such as
marital issues, family adjustment, stress management, teen
depression or bereavement issues.
Counseling services are available to the child with cancer, their
sibling(s), or the family as a whole. Services are available while
the child is in treatment, after treatment ends, or for those
families whose child loses their battle with cancer.
Children's Chance is aware that over 80% of
families who have a child with a chronic illness end up divorcing.
The counseling program can also provide marriage counseling for
couples who face their child's struggle with cancer.

Counseling Program, please contact the office at (803) 254-5996
