Teen Support Programs, provide a place for teens to "just be teens" during and after cancer treatment, and allow teens to talk about the challenges of cancer with their peers. Cancer therapy and its side effects are particularly difficult for teens because it leads to isolation from peers. Retreats are part of the Teen Support Program which may include trips to places like the beach and mountains. The following are Children's Chance teen support groups:

  • Lasting Impressions at Palmetto Health Richland
  • Surviving Cancer All Together (SCAT) at Greenville Children's Hospital
  • Can-Teen at Medical University of South Carolina
